Tachikara Renews Longtime Partnership with the NJCAA
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Continuing a 24-year relationship, Tachikara USA, Inc., has extended
its status as The Official Volleyball Supplier of the NJCAA under terms
of a new five-year agreement effective until March, 2015. Both
organizations continue to find new ways in which to enhance the
partnership between the volleyball manufacturer and the 307 member
institutions that sponsor women’s volleyball in the NJCAA.
Under
the designation, Tachikara will continue to supply Official NJCAA
volleyballs and portable ball carts for all NJCAA district and national
championship tournaments. Additionally Tachikara will continue to
support individual NJCAA institutions with travel expense
reimbursements as well as support the recently launched “NJCAA TV”
sports webcasting platform through advertising. Tachikara will retain
rights to use NJCAA trademarks for promotional and advertising
campaigns noting Tachikara's official status.

Director Mary Ellen Leict. “Recognizing the benefit of supporting
volleyball at all levels, the partnership forged between Tachikara and
the NJCAA has assisted over 300 teams and 3,500 student-athletes in
2009 alone. The NJCAA appreciates the support shown by Tachikara over
the past 24 years and looks forward to continuing the use of the finest
volleyball on the market at our championship events."
