In response to the ongoing issues and challenges presented with the COVID-19 coronavirus, we at Tachikara® are taking measures to keep our employees and their families safe and healthy.
We are monitoring and following guidelines from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) on how to protect ourselves and others from the COVID-19 coronavirus. We strongly encourage employees to adopt recommended prevention practices such as: washing hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds; avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth; covering coughs and sneezes with an elbow or tissue; maintaining a safe distance from others; wearing a mask while in public settings. Work related travel has been suspended and employees are asked to stay home if symptoms manifest indicating an illness. Our operations are primarily warehouse dependent with limited exposure since we do not experience foot traffic in a retail environment. We are open for business and plan to continue serving our customers.
In response to the frequently asked question (FAQ); “How should I clean and disinfect my ball?”
To clean, we recommend wiping the exterior of the ball with a damp cloth using a mixture of water and a mild liquid detergent. To disinfect, you may use a wipe that is known to eliminate 99.9% of germs, viruses, and bacteria that can live on surfaces for up to 48 hours.
